Chemtrans, a division of K&S Freighters, is a well-respected and industry leader in the safe and efficient transportation and delivery of Dangerous and Hazardous Goods and chemicals throughout Australia.
We currently have driving positions available on Day & Night shift for safety conscious, professional drivers to complete local and country deliveries in our well-maintained automatics.
We provide comprehensive and competency-based training program spanning 4 plus weeks where you will be trained to safely perform a range of tasks including not limited to, load and unload various liquid products DG and non-DG products, delivering to customer sites, use of different equipment Flat top trailers, road tankers / Iso Containers, rail and wharf work for import and export.

What you will have
Strong communication skills both verbal and written, strong attention to detail for the completion of critical delivery documentation. A positive attitude, commitment towards workplace Health, Safety and NHVR compliance.
- HC minimum license, with proven extensive driving experience of at least 12 months with Dangerous Goods (Packaged or Bulk).
- Range of work will vary with tanker bulk loads, ISO movements to Rail, Wharf and Customer sites. The applicants must be open to all types of work.
- A safe driver history report.
- Police check.
- Fitness for duty, completing a pre-employment medical.
- Current Australian Dangerous Goods license is a MUST.
- Ability to learn and be trained in loading and unloading chemical products.
- Weekend work is available and plenty of hours (Typical driver average 50+ hours each week)
