About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking the power of our data by creating insightful and visually compelling dashboards and reports using Tableau. As part of your responsibilities, you will;
- Using Data modelling and data cleansing techniques to create and modify systems to meet user’s business needs.
- Create clear, compelling, and interactive data visualisations in Tableau (charts, graphs, dashboards)
- Maintaining & Improving Data integrity, working through inconsistencies in the way data is stored and processes throughout the organisations.
- Being aware of the latest trends in the data analytics industry and applying the learnings to SHAPE. This is achieved through industry events, networking, and research.
- Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- 5+ Years Tableau Experience
- Sound knowledge and experience in SQL Server data mining.
- Experience with data warehousing software, including Snowflake, Databricks, SQL or similar would be preferable.
- Demonstrable experience in data governance, data lineage also preferred.
- Experience with collating, organising, analysing, and disseminating information with accuracy.
- Strong business acumen and ability to learn business process / context to support comprehensive data analytics and recommendations.
- Demonstrable experience in looking “under the hood” - explaining “why” trends are occurring, not just that it is happening.
- Ability to present findings in a succinct, refined manner.
