The Role
The Training Accreditation Council Secretariat provides administrative services to the Training Accreditation Council (TAC) which is an independent statutory body that assures the quality of training and assessment of Registered Training Organisations and accreditation of courses in the vocational education and training (VET) sector in Western Australia. The TAC operates within an agreed national regulatory framework and is responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant Standards.
The Data and Research Officer supports the multidisciplinary team within the Training Accreditation Council Secretariat by undertaking a range of data management, analysis and reporting activities. The position also contributes to the development of key branch policies and projects.
To be successful in this role you, it is essential that you have demonstrated considerable skills in data management, analysis and use of data analytical tools, as well as demonstrated well-developed project management skills, including research, project planning, implementation and evaluation.
As the role undertakes research and complex analysis and reporting, is it also essential that applicants possess demonstrated well-developed report writing and conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to provide solutions to complex problems and issues.
