Full-Time and Part-Time (0.8FTE), 12-Month Contract

Opportunities are now available for Data Assistants, both full-time and part-time (0.8FTE) to join the Australian Orthopaedic Association’s National Joint Replacement Registry (AOANJRR) at SAHMRI. In this position you will perform tasks to support the data management activities of the AOANJRR including data entry, data cleaning, scanning and filing of data forms submitted to the registry.
About the Role
Key responsibilities include:
- Log receipt, organise, scan and file data submitted by contributing hospitals
- Accurate and efficient data entry of AOANJRR clinical data
- Under the direction of data managers, perform data cleaning tasks including submission of queries to contributing hospitals
- Active participation and contribution to team meetings
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
- Essential: High school completion or equivalent
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in health science or similar
- Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with organisational policies and standard operating procedures
- Demonstrated experience in high volume data entry of clinical data
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong focus on timely, accurate delivery of work
- Demonstrated high level of written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team, effectively build relationships and establish rapport
