We provide the highest levels of security, sovereignty, service and compliance.The OpportunityUtilize your facilities management skills and experience to successfully manage and maintain the Canberra Campus.The Intellicentres operate on 24x7x365 basis and hosts Macquarie Telecom Group as well as Customer IT Infrastructure.The role covers the three key areas:· 100% Uptime and availability of Campus facilities· The management of new Intellicentre infrastructure and Customer onboarding· The management of capacity to ensure efficient use of facility space and infrastructure \nWhat You will do

• Management of Data Centre Facility Infrastructure and Management Systems.
• Provide technical support for all Macquarie Data Centres (Intellicentres) for facility projects, operations and upgrades.
• Data Hall infrastructure design, upgrades and ongoing operations support.
• Implement Data Centres Customer Provisioning.
• Support Managed Services to Corporate and Government customers.
• Manage electrical & mechanical preventative maintenance, repair works and call-out services for facility infrastructure equipment.
• Support 24/7 Macquarie Technology Group Customer Mission Critical Services.
• Maintain facility infrastructure and in the response to any incidents related to the Data Centre facilities.
• Co-ordinate the installation and availability of Data and Electrical services within the Data Halls.

Your ideal skills and experience

• Facility Management, Electrical or Mechanical Technician Certificate/Diploma equivalent to Australian standards
• Restricted electrical license to perform switching operations.
• Prior management experience in Enterprise Data Centres
• Experience in Data Centre MEP technologies.
• Data Centre routine maintenance activity development and execution.
• Strong knowledge of building services (Structural, DRUPS/UPS, HV/LV switchgear, Electrical Design, Generators, Security Systems, HVAC, Fire, Security, EMS, ECMS, BMS)
• Ability to travel within Australia to other Intellicentre locations.
