- Attention to detail with high accuracy
- Experience in health fund validations, Data Entry, patient services or ward clerk services desirable.
- Well-developed word processing skills specifically utilising the software programs.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work without direct supervision.
- The ability to self-prioritise and to work to a deadline.
- Demonstrated patient-focused approach in service provision.
- Commitment to improving own knowledge base and performance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and identify solutions and demonstrated ability to think both logically and 'outside of the square’.
- Excellent skills in facilitating business planning and establishing dashboard performance measures.
- Maintains confidentiality in accord with relevant policies.
- Utilises and maintains effective channels of communication.
- Utilises interpersonal skills conducive to promoting harmony and cooperation both within the hospital and with external service providers.
- Establishes and maintains professional and effective working relations with visiting clinicians, hospital staff, volunteers, the public and external service providers; and
- Utilises effective public relations skills.
