AddressHR+ Tasmania is a Rural Workforce Agency (RWA) and registered NDIS provider which supports Tasmanian communities with primary health workforce planning (predominately in rural settings) and through delivery of support coordination and plan management to NDIS Participants across Tasmania.
We are seeking an experienced data analyst and researcher to support our Primary Health, NDIS and Management Teams with data interpretation, data management and analytics.
The position
The primary function of this role is to undertake appropriate data analytics and research to inform health and disability services planning, needs assessment, service design and evaluation and program implementation.
This role will support the delivery of the GP Workforce Planning and Prioritisation (WPP) activity in Tasmania. Data analysis and planning functions will support the development of local plans that guide the distribution of Australia General Practice Training (AGPT) Program registrars to the Tasmanian communities where they are most needed and the production of an annual Health Workforce Needs Assessment (HWNA).
In addition, this role will support the broader Organisation with business intelligence and reporting, including the preparation of data sets and presentations to senior management and the Board of HR+.
The organisation
HR+ is a not-for-profit incorporated association contracted by the Australian and Tasmanian governments to recruit and retain general practitioners, nursing and allied health professionals in Tasmania, with an emphasis on rural and remote communities. Our organisation is one of seven Rural Workforce Agencies funded by the Australian Government nationally. HR+ also delivers the Health Workforce Scholarship Program and are a registered NDIS provider of Coordination of Supports and Plan Management.
The HR+ main office is in Launceston and the position is based within this office. The office has been fitted out with the latest technology and the greenery is multiplying by the day.
