Reporting to the Data Product Leader – Customer, the Data Product Analyst will be responsible for understanding business/technology requirements and translating into technology planning activities and sprints. Responsibilities include:
- Works alongside the business teams, product lead and leader to define and document business requirements
- Create specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the construction of technology systems.
- Provides high-level evaluation of requirements for technology programs and projects, which includes process re-engineering, cost-benefit analysis, recommended solutions and requirements development.
- Engages with the business to prepare User Acceptance Testing.
- Develops documentation that correctly reflects current functionality, operating procedures and processes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal customers across all levels of the organization
Be Impactful when you are applying…
You will have some of the following competencies;
- Tertiary Qualification in computer science, information technology, business systems or other relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent significant practical experience
- Effective gathering and management of technical business requirements
- Broad knowledge of cloud data systems and products and experience in delivery of cloud data projects,
- Exposure to modern Cloud data platforms including schema on read & schema on write patterns, CICD frameworks/pipelines, visualisation tools (Tableau, PowerBI, RedShift, DataBricks, Azure DevOPs)
- Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA) , Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) or equivalent.
- Great written and verbal communication skills with proven success in communicating complex analysis across all levels within a business
