By partnering with stakeholders to identify modelling opportunities you will be responsible for exploring and analysing data, the of building analytic datasets, performing advanced modelling tasks, and delivering actionable insights to support the growth and strategic direction of NGM Group.
What will your key responsibilities include?
- Deliver the full data lifecycle including requirements analysis, solution design, development of advanced analytics solutions, and ongoing support of developed solutions.
- You will support the Advanced Analytics & AI Manager to define, execute and manage advanced modelling tasks
- Utilise advanced statistical models and machine learning techniques to analyse large datasets, and produce advanced data analytics products for various applications
- Communicate with stakeholders, gather and analyse user requirements to develop data analytics solutions,
- Design and automate analytics solutions, develop interactive metrics and dashboards.
- Communicating and presenting complex analytical concepts to people from non-technical teams, ensuring alignment and successful product development and delivery
- Use data and analytics to optimise our stakeholder experience, to reduce risk and costs.
- Use analytics and predictive modelling to increase and optimise business processes to facilitate quicker learnings.
What are we looking for?
You will bring best in class practices, and you will have an inquisitive and creative mind to mould the analytics capabilities and resources of the Bank and help us take customer experience to the next level.
Additionally you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in data science, machine learning, and statistical modelling.
- Strong understanding of the Data Science Technology landscape
- Experience in R/Python/SQL and SAS (statistical software) and MS Excel
- Experience in cloud-based Machine Learning and AI platforms such as Databricks , BigQuery ML, Vertex AI, AWS Sagemaker.
- Proven experience using reporting and data visualisation tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, SAS VA
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to consult and influence stakeholders
- Ability to set clear achievable goals, priorities and meet deadlines
- Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
- Tertiary or Degree level qualification in relevant field such as a relevant field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related discipline
- Understanding of the financial services industry including working knowledge of banking products and metrics, covering mortgages will be a bonus
