About the Role
Joining the Maintenance team, you will be working in an exciting, fast-paced team environment which is dynamic and strives to continuously improve. Working in collaboration with site personnel you will be responsible for achieving safety and performance targets, by enabling the effective Maintenance of operational Fleet.
Reporting to the Supervisor Maintenance, you will safely support the daily maintenance activities. You will take an active role in driving a strong safety culture, but also seeks to continuously improve operating efficiency.

What You'll Do
Non-Trade based maintenance roles are being considered for support with particular interest in Service Persons and Trades Assistants.
Roles are being considered for Field, Workshop (Mobile) and Fixed Plant areas.
What You'll Bring
Previous Experience in a Mining Maintenance environment is highly desired.
Experience in operating vehicles on a mine site is highly desired.
Experience in the servicing and refueling of Heavy Mobile plant is highly desired.
Experience with computer based maintenance systems (SAP) will be highly regarded.
The ability to work in high intensity environments, under pressure and manage competing priorities.
High attention to detail and the ability to identify and execute improvements to continuously optimise performance.
A willingness to learn and develop skills in all areas of mining maintenance is essential.
Working in and around CAT Command Autonomous Haulage System equipped machinery is desirable but not essential.
Ability to adhere and live the Whitehaven Values and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.
Ability to pass a QLD Coal Board Medical
High level of computer literacy and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
