Our client, a leading broadacre seed company, based in Toowoomba is seeking suitable candidates for two roles Maintenance Technician and Senior Operator (2IC) for an immediate stat for the right candidate. 

Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician working closely within our Maintenance Leading Hand to maintain and repair machinery and equipment in our commercial seed processing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and be able to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues effectively.

Duties:

• Maintaining and repairing machines
• Performing maintenance breakdown and preventative maintenance
• Fault finding and troubleshooting machinery issues
• Managing repairs, servicing, and maintenance of machinery and equipment

Skills & Experience:

• Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification and proven work history
• Excellent troubleshooting & problem-solving skills
• Flexible approach and adaptability to change with high attention to detail
• Good time management skills and ability to work well under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment
• Willingness and ability to learn new processes
• Current working at heights, confined space and forklift licences or willingness to obtain
• Current drivers’ licence and working rights in Australia
• Must be able to start immediately

Full Time 2IC - OperatorWe are seeking a reliable Machine Operator for a newly created role on site. Training will be provided for the right candidates.

Duties:

• Must have proven Management experience 
• Must have exposure to KPI's
