Daunia features state-of-the-art infrastructure and mining operations, including well-established autonomous equipment and infrastructure.About the RoleWe are excited to open up EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST for experienced Multi Skilled Operators to join us as at our newly acquired Daunia site within our Load & Haul and Mine Services teams.Multi-Skilled Operators are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of mining equipment to meet production and budgetary targets. You will possess a broad depth of understanding and experience in road construction, road maintenance, earthmoving and general support works.This role will suit hardworking and proactive Mobile Plant Operators, ideally with proven previous experience in safely operating the below mobile plant equipment:Dozer Operators - D10T, D11T or equivalentGrader Operators - 16M or equivalentWater Cart Operators - 777 or equivalentLoader Operators - 980 or equivalentScraper Operators - 637 or equivalentOperators will be employed on an even time rotating day/night roster (7on/7off).What You'll DoContribute to the safe and efficient operation of mobile machinery and other plant in an autonomous haulage open cut environment to maximise productionConduct routine operational and safety activities to effectively prepare for and manage operational workloadIdentifies and assesses risks, makes risk informed decisions, uses the company's risk management frameworkWhat You'll BringAt least two (2) of the equipment competencies as listedA positive attitude towards safety, improvement, training & environmentAbility to maintain a high work output levelAbility to adhere and live the Whitehaven Values and contribute to a collaborative organisational culture.Open-cut production mining experience with statements of competency/VOC's for equipmentAbility to pass a QLD Coal Board MedicalTrainer / assessor certification (desirable)Autonomous Haulage experience (desirable)Why Whitehaven CoalWe offer FIFO from Brisbane / Cairns on a 7on:7off rosterCamp accommodation26 wks.
