Perth Dermatology Clinic and Day Hospital is an established dermatology specialist practice and licensed and accredited Day Surgery located in Perth.
We are seeking a motivated, friendly and experienced Registered Nurse to fill a maternity leave vacancy for 7 months (May - December 2024).
The position is for 4 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8-5pm).
This role will be suited to a nurse who has Day Surgery and dermatology clinic experience. The preferred candidate will have the ability to work both in theatre and recovery, have competency in post-operative wound care and dressing changes and able to facilitate fast paced nurse led clinics.
Our facility has 1 operating theatre, 2 minor treatment rooms and a 2-chair recovery for dermatological procedures performed under local and regional anaesthesia (melanoma and skin cancer surgery).
Criteria:
- AHPRA nurse registration
- >2 years’ experience in theatre/Day Surgery/dermatology
- Knowledge of the requirements of operating theatre/ACORN standards/Day Surgery requirements.
- Must have knowledge of NSQHS standards.
- Ability to operate a fully electronic medical record.
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a small team.
- Ability to prioritise and multitask to achieve desired results.
Position Overview:
Maternity Leave Cover for 7 months May- Dec 2024, 4 days per week Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8am-5pm.
The position will commence with orientation and training Tuesday April 23rd 2024.
