The Opportunity

Triumph's Supply Chain Department in Brisbane is looking for a Distribution Centre and Logistics Manager. Your responsibilities will include warehousing and distribution coordination, review and continuous improvement of standard operating procedures, forecasting and planning, supplier management and leadership of a team of twenty staff. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Coordinate functionality of the DC and optimise space and labour productivity
• Coordinate with planning, marketing and sales in relation to sales promotions, introduction of new products or any major projects that affect the warehouse
• Proactively lead a safety culture that includes site compliance to all legislative and company safety requirements
• Lead and manage the DC and WH teams, ensuring strong communication of roles, responsibilities, and facilitating career development
• Establish reporting systems for all aspects of health and safety, based on AS 4804- Occupation Health and Safety Management Systems - Principles and Practices.

Requirements for the Role

To be considered, you will possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Logistics Management, Materials Management or equivalent level of learning through job experience
• Strong warehousing and logistics experience from a manufacturing environment, ideally in the retail or garment sector
• Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills
• Good English communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient in SAP, BW (handy but not essential) and MS Office applications
