Job Description:We are now looking for a
Production Manager to join our highly skilled team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager - Torbanlea, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth-running of daily operations in your nominated production area. You will be accountable for:
- Ensuring compliance with all manufacturing, design and customer specifications
- Management of a production workforce, schedule, budgets, quality and safety
- Collaboration with key stakeholders both internal and external
- Empowering team leaders and encouraging continuous improvement initiatives
This is a fulltime, permanent role, and is based in Torbanlea / Maryborough, QLD
About You:- 5+ years relevant experience in production management (manufacturing)
- Trade qualification - Ideally Fabrication or Mechanical Engineering trade.
- Strong people management/mentoring skills and collaborative approach to work
- Exposure and knowledge to Industry 4.0 and automation
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels
About the Project:QTMP is the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland's history.
