Job Description
You will work with our Returns Team to deliver excellent reverse logistics operations. Our ability to process returns quickly and accurately is critical to the commercial success of our business and to our mission to impress every customer.
You will be a detail-focused person who is able to split their time between being hands-on and processing returns, working together, and developing solutions to ongoing pain points in the process.
Position Responsibilities
- Process returned items into the warehouse as per company procedures.
- Ascertain return type and process accordingly.
- Investigate and rectify return anomalies.
- Conduct cycle counts.
- Process PC’s and GRA’s as per company procedures.
- Keep inventory accuracy at the forefront of all day-to-day decisions.
- Write off disposals.
- Build positive relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- DC Housekeeping.
- Report any warehouse stock damage in a timely manner to the DC Manager.
- Maintain Spreadsheets.
- Prepare completed items for transport if required.
- Manage emails and action accordingly.
- Document and take photos of items processed.
- Schedule GRA collections.
- Assist other areas of the business from time to time.
- Other ad hoc duties as requested.
- Ensure that all incidents/injuries, near misses, and hazards are reported in a timely manner to the DC Manager.
- Handle products in line with safety and handling induction and training.
- Adhere to WH&S policies and procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring that all people on-site at the DC follow all relevant Safe Working Practices (SWPs) in accordance with the National Safety Plan.
Qualifications
- Warehouse experience is required.
- Must have LF or LO ticket.
- Preferred experience working with appliances, furniture, or large bulky items, although not essential.
- Strong safety focus with knowledge and experience in safe manual handling.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in multitasking and has experience in it.
- Excellent team player.
- Good communication skills.
- Possesses a proactive and can-do attitude.
