Peter Moyes Anglican Community School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative educator to join our School as the Dean of Teaching and Learning (Years 7-12).
This Executive position is responsible for Teaching and Learning in the Secondary School. The role requires leadership of staff and students and the ongoing promotion of a positive school environment and culture.
Key aspects of this role include the academic development of secondary students including their Teaching and Learning programmes and leadership of academic staff.
The Dean of Teaching and Learning (7-12) reports to the Deputy Principal and works collaboratively with Associate Principal Operations and the Dean of Students (7-12), whom are the Secondary School Leadership Team. They also work collaboratively with the Middle Leaders in Secondary, being the Heads of Department and Heads of Year. The Dean of Teaching and Learning (7-12) also works closely with the Dean of Teaching and Learning (PK-6).
Commencing in Term 3, 2024, or later by negotiation, this appointment is full time position (1.0 FTE) with a teaching load of between 0.2 to 0.4 FTE. Initial appointment would be for a period of 5 years. Salary information will be shared upon request.
This role would suit for a current Head of Department or experienced leader with a passion for Teaching and Learning who is ready to transition to a leadership role
