About the position
CSL Australia is currently looking for permanent Deck Operator to join our Floating Offshore Transfer Barge (FOTB) - Spencer Gulf. This operation is based in Whyalla, South Australia and will be a FIFO role.
CSL Australia will organise, schedule and pay for your travel costs, including flights and when required accommodation from any destination in Australia.
The role of a Deck Operator is to provide support during loading/discharging and other related cargo operations. In addition, the Deck Operators will be responsible for:
- Cargo Operations and deck work;
- Line handling;
- General housekeeping and maintenance work;
- Adopting safe working practices;
- Undertaking any other tasks assigned by the FOTB Operations Manager, an any other maintenance tasks as assigned by the FOTB Manager.
