We have an immediate opportunity for an experienced Defence Aerospace Engineerto contribute to client-centric project delivery.
You will offer expert advice and technical solutions, highlighting airworthiness assurance and certification.
This position provides the flexibility to be based in either Newcastle or Adelaide, with full support for a true flexible hybrid work environment
What you will be involved in:
- Foster strong client relationships through proactive engagement, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions
- Play a crucial role in project reporting, providing transparent and comprehensive updates on project progress
- Actively contribute to fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team
- Ensure adherence to airworthiness regulations and standards, guiding clients through the certification process with professionalism and expertise
What we would like from you:
- Bachelors degree of engineering in Aerospace or Aeronautical recognised by Engineers Australia
- Proven experience in a Defence related Aerospace Engineering role working above the line CASG or SPO environments
- Demonstrated experience in airworthiness engineering and certification processes
- Australian Citizenship and a TSPV (Top Secret Positive Vetting) security clearance
- The ability to effectively problem-solve complex business issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate seamlessly with team members and stakeholders
- The capability to work independently with minimal oversight in a dynamic environment
- Possess commercial acumen and negotiation skills to navigate complex business landscapes
