The Role
As a Deputy Product Manager in the Cyberspace Operations Systems Program Office (COSPO), you will support the Product Manager in the delivery and support of an ICT product supporting either cyber training, cyber operations, or development and test environments.
You will report to a Product Manager, under the JP9131-1 Defensive Cyberspace Operations Project Manager, within the COSPO. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet the support requirements for your product and the cyber operators using it, including both exercise and operational support requirements. You will use the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) to support the delivery of incremental capability, making best use of available resources and managing stakeholder expectations.
These roles are an opportunity to be directly involved in the development and sustainment of capability – the product teams will be the prime systems integrators and you will have the opportunity to give input on technical decisions.
About our Team
The COSPO has an integrated workforce of Australian Public Servants (APS), Australian Defence Force (ADF) and contracted personnel. COSPO delivers and sustains defensive cyber operations products for ADF Cyber Units using the Scaled Agile Framework.
Depending on your product, you will work alongside a security certification analyst, an acceptance test and evaluation engineer, a product development engineering team, and other specialised teams. Additionally, you will work closely with other COSPO Product teams and use services from other COSPO teams, including the Program Management Office, Engineering Support Team, and Product Services Team.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams as well as senior executives in both written and verbal formats. They will bring an understanding of ICT Service Operations to the team, and will be eager to learn and improve their skills.
