Operations Supervisor - Mindarie South Australia

We are currently seeking a talented Operations Supervisor to join the Qube team based at the mine site in Mindarie South Australia on a 2 week on/2 week off Roster with Accomodation provided for Drive in/Drive out applicants. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role will help supervise operations associated with the new Murray Zircon contract, ensuring operational excellence and a strong commitment to safe and compliant operations. 

Key aspects of this role include:

• A commitment to Zero Harm
• Day to day supervision and co-ordination of the team and deliveries to customers
• Conducting on-site risk assessments to ensure customer sites comply with HSSE requirements
• Able to assess competency base workplace skills
• Building effective relationships with all company stakeholders (drivers, customers and other team members)
• Complete and collect required paperwork and documentation for deliveries
• Liaise with customers on work schedules and workshops on all service and breakdown issues
• Visit operation sites on a regular basis to ensure compliance, HSSE and service levels are being met

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that candidates have:

• MSIC Card or ability to acquire one.
• Experience with Loader Operations 
• Ability dynamic operating environment
• Be computer literate (Microsoft Office)
• Clear written and verbal communication skills – ability to write clearly and complete documentation well
• Strong analytical thinker with an ability to make concise and effective decisions.
• The ability to cope with an ever-changing environment.
• Previous supervisory experience in the road transport and logistics industry preferred
