AddressProgrammed Skilled Workforce is seeking a Delivery Driver to assist our client at their busy Tamworth depot for an immediate start.
Our client is one of the world's leading freight companies specializing in domestic and international parcel deliveries.
About the role:
- Monday to Friday, day work
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced work environment to ensure that freight is moved in accordance to scheduled timeframes, whilst maintaining a high level of safety.
- Sorting, scanning and data entry (computer skills an advantage)
- Loading and unloading of trucks via manual handling & forklift operations
- Deliveries and pick up of freight in Tamworth and surrounds
- Stacking and unstacking pallets and crates
- The successful candidate must have the physicality to operate in a high volume, manual handling environment.
- Contribute to a safe working environment at all times
- General cleaning and organisation of the yard/shop when required
About you:
- Hold a Forklift ticket and demonstrated ability
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Hold an MR licence or above
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role
- Willingness to learn and have an attitude to succeed
- Positive attitude to safety in the workplace
- Be able to pass a criminal history check & provide a good driving history check
- Be willing to undertake and pass a full medical including functional assessment and D&A test.
- Provide 2 contactable work referees
