Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and punctual Delivery Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver pizzas quickly and ensure they arrive hot and fresh to our customers. When not delivering, the driver will assist with washing dishes and restocking the fridge with drinks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prompt Deliveries: Ensure pizzas and other menu items are delivered to customers in a timely manner, maintaining the quality and temperature of the food.
• Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers upon delivery, addressing any concerns or issues they may have.
• Dishwashing: Assist with washing dishes and kitchen utensils during quieter periods.
• Stock Management: Keep the fridge stocked with drinks and ensure inventory is rotated properly.
• Order Accuracy: Verify order accuracy before leaving the store to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Safety: Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
• Communication: Coordinate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure efficient and accurate delivery.
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean and valid driver’s license.
• Reliable Transportation: Must have a reliable vehicle for deliveries.
• Punctuality: Consistently arrive on time for shifts and deliveries.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in food delivery or customer service
• Familiarity with the local area and efficient route planning.
