Form of workOneSolomons are a leading manufacturer, retailer and wholesaler of home improvement products (such as security, awnings, blinds and shutters) and we are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual for the position of Delivery Driver and Onsite Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a variety of vehicles to do wholesale drop-offs of product, supporting our retail arm with being a Trades Assistant whilst with our installers and also supporting in the factory from time to time.
Responsibilities:
- Drive a variety of vehicles to deliver products to wholesale customers
- Assist our retail team with onsite duties such as being a Trades Assistant whilst with our installers
- Assist in the factory when required
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure that all products are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- Report any issues or concerns to the management team
Requirements:
- Must hold a valid manual driver's license
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items
- Good driving record
