We have multiple opportunities for Distribution Design Technical Officers located in Mackay.This position provides leadership, mentoring, and technical direction for their workgroup. Utilise your Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering and be responsible for the coordination, design and management of multi-disciplinary Distribution Design projects all the way from tendering to design acceptance and payment.There will be plentiful collaboration in this challenging yet rewarding role, where you will be working with multiple internal and external stakeholders to achieve project outcomes in accordance with work practices, standards and regulations in safe, timely and efficient manner.The remuneration for your new role is from $ 128,196 plus 12.75% super for a 9-day fortnight and from $144,862 plus 12.75% super for a 10-day fortnight. • Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification is essential.
• Certificate IV or Diploma (Cert V) in Electrical Supply Industry or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate IV in Trainer & Assessor and/or Certificate IV in Frontline Management or equivalent experience is desirable.
• Extensive knowledge of distribution and sub-transmission lines design and associated standards.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work as part of a team and provide training, coaching and technical support to individuals and teams
• Experience using design and survey programs and related gear.

Candidates without an AD in Electrical Engineering but are close to attaining the qualification may be considered for the role subject to their level of Design experience.
