About the Opportunity:
We are currently offering a full-time Delivery Driver opportunity to join our Katanning team.
Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships. Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers both in-store and at the delivery site.
What you will do:
- Load or assist in loading truck with ordered merchandise
- Unload or assist in unloading tuck by using forklift and trolley as appropriate
- Operate truck according to state laws and safety requirements
- Transport loads over required route to proper destinations, observing all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct standard truck inspections
- Complete deliveries, receive necessary signatures, and return completed paperwork to branch
- Maintain any related records required
- Perform miscellaneous service duties such as checking on a daily basis, oil, water, petrol and air in tyres
- Report any maintenance requirements to relevant branch employees
- Assist with store-based counter sales as required
- Support stock take activities and inventory control
What you will bring:
- Strong awareness of safety for yourself and others
- Must hold HR Licence, HC Licence is preferrable
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 20 kilograms
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients at delivery points
- Meet physical and medical requirements as part of the pre-employment medical screening process
