AddressThis small, boutique architecture practice is located in Melbourne’s northern city-fringe. The studio works across Private Residential projects and they are on the lookout for a talented Senior Project Architect who possesses local experience in the delivery of projects. The successful Architect will be highly-skilled in ArchiCAD with strong documentation ability, and have a quality design aesthetic. Contract Administration exposure is a must, in particular experience administering the ABIC Simple Works contract. Work closely with the Director in a tight-knit practice that offers autonomy and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects concurrently from design to completion
- Work closely with the Director
- Develop concept work into detailed design
- Prepare accurate and thorough documentation
- Manage clients, consultants and team members
- Be involved with the whole gamut; the exterior and interior fit-out
Skills & Experience
- Masters Degree in Architecture
- Current ARBV Registration
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in the Australian industry, including high-end residential projects
- High ArchiCAD proficiency
- Contract Administration project experience ie ABIC SW contract
- Broad knowledge of the planning process and BCA
- Strong construction and technical knowledge
- Proactive approach with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
