About the Role

Working as part of our Regional Management and Operations Directorate, the Delivery Manager Roads plays a critical role in managing the Regional Delivery Plan, including Public Tendered Works (PTW’s), Direct Managed Works (DMW’s) and Minor Capital Works (MCW’s). This position is based in the South West Region, located in Bunbury, which has responsibility for 1,642 kilometres of state roads, 988 structures and works closely with local government in the management of 11,491 kilometres of local road network. The Region covers an area of 28,750 square kilometres and comprises 16 local government authorities.

The Delivery Manager Roads is a critical to ensuring the successful delivery of the Regional Delivery Plan, working with a number of stakeholders to ensure maintenance and works are delivered on time and on budget.

As the successful candidate, you will be an integral part of the Region’s management team and should have both strong leadership and management skills to develop, motivate and empower staff. Your broad skills and experience in the delivery of road and bridge construction and maintenance and established knowledge and experience of both project and contract management will be critical to your success in this role.
