About the Role
Main Roads is seeking a committed and results driven individual to join its Wheatbelt Region as Manager Project Development and Delivery. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a collaborative and high performing development/delivery team within a leading infrastructure and network management organisation.
The Manager Project Development and Delivery will be responsible for managing the Development and Delivery of all capital and improvement projects in the Wheatbelt Region comprising works delivered through the Statewide Road Construction Panel Contract, Statewide Structural Panel Contract Public Tenders or delivered by Main Roads in-house direct managed teams and Local Governments and provide subject matter expertise and technical direction and advice.
About You
This is a critical, leadership role within our Wheatbelt Region. We need an enthusiastic leader and self-motivated individual with extensive management skills, knowledge and experience in Project Development and Delivery of civil construction infrastructure projects along with extensive road and/or bridge design, construction and maintenance experience. Your will need to demonstrate your understanding of project and contract management practices including Superintendence of infrastructure contracts, as well as being able to demonstrate extensive experience and the ability to develop and implement a wide range of contracts.
Our stakeholders and customers are important to us, hence your ability to develop positive, professional relationships will be well utilised when engaging with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Your leadership capabilities will need to be first class, you will be contributing to the formulation of corporate and directorate policies and strategies, you will also manage safety in the workplace along with the management of employee behaviour, performance and development.
