Full time permanent role – based in Perth

Reporting to the General Manager – Sales and Business Development, we seek an engagingDemand and Supply Coordinatorto forecast and project effective inventory levels to maintain the balance of inventory supply and Demand and to ensure timely processing of orders to meet operational needs. 

This role will primarily see you develop and implement methods to control, plan and schedule the purchase, storage and consumption of inventory. Acting as the liaison between sales, engineering, customer service and external vendors to maintain and execute the inventory schedule while optimising utilsation of constraints, minimising lead times and updating our customers with delivery schedules to meet their requirements. You will be working to maintain professional relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and good source of supply and information. This role is responsible for maintaining and consolidating major purchases, establishing guidelines for delivery time commitments and maintaining purchase order files

About you
Previous experience in purchasing, scheduling, stock control, negotiations with long term contracts and dealings with Customs Agents and Freight Forwarders will put you in good stead for this role. The ability to analyse inventory data reports for newly launched products and trends as new demands for products develop. You will hold a Tertiary qualification in either Business, Supply Chain or Logistics and/or experience in Supply Chain along with sound knowledge SAP. and Excel. 

With your level of autonomy, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills together with your strong negotiation and organisation skills and ability to use initiative will be highly regarded. In addition, excellent presentation skills, the ability to establish priorities and meet set deadlines and targets whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service is fundamental.
