About the role:
The Demand Planner is responsible for purchasing, stock management and logistics management. The Demand Planner undertakes a variety of activities to ensure efficient, accurate and timely response processes are implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
Purchasing
- End to end stock ordering and supplier communications.
- Manage logistics, customs declarations and legislative paperwork.
- Analysis of usage and tools to identify trends and changes in customer demand.
- Raise Purchase Orders to suppliers.
Stock Management, Analysis and Forecasting
- Manage stock levels, transfers and communications across multiple national locations including Third-party logistics (3PL) chain management.
- Co-ordinate stock counts, substantiate results and system stock level adjustments.
- Consult with sales team to determine forecasting and changes in customer demand.
- Work closely with the Customer Solutions and Warehouse teams.
Logistics and Exports
- Freight logistics and communications (national and international).
- Process international customer orders and co-ordinate ordering of stock to be shipped directly to customer.
- Liaise with international freight forwarder.
