About the opportunity:
Join an established practice and small friendly team! Here at Bupa Dental Maleny you will be supported to grow and work among a great team, if you are proactive to learn and love all things Dentistry than this is the opportunity for you. We are open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm. No late nights or weekends required!
The heart of the role:
- Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
- Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
- Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
- Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
- Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management
What you'll bring:
- 6 months+ experience as a Dental Assistant preferred.
- Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service/patient care
- Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
