AddressWord of Mouth Dentistry® is a Multi Award Winning dental practice established for over 21 years, located in the heart of Kogarah Town Square. We provide services to clients of all ages and are passionate about creating a unique experience for each and every one of our amazing patients. Our welcome lounge includes a massive reef aquarium.
Our friendly, motivated team requires a Dental Assistant (Practice Care Assistant) to support our Dental Professionals in a full time or part-time capacity.
You will be part of an important team that ensures the smooth running of our busy practice which normally consists of 4 dental treatment rooms operating at any one time. You are invited to apply to join our happy team which normally includes 10 Support Staff, 7 Dentists and 3 Oral Health Therapists.
The role will be Dental Assisting with the potential to progress to further diverse responsibilities such as reception or leadership roles depending on your skills, preferences and our needs at the time.
Dental Assisting duties include:
- Handing instruments to dentists
- Assisting patients
- Helping clinicians plan the day
- Preparing treatment rooms for procedures
- Strict infection control compliance
- Welcoming and screening patients
Skills & Experience
- Preferred over 4 months dental assisting and/or good customer service experience.
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Dental4Windows experience advantageous but full training is provided.
- Great initiative, resourcefulness, attention to detail and work ethic.
