Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Maudsland Dental Care is expanding and currently hiring for two positions. We are looking for candidates who are dedicated, reliable, and enthusiastic to fill these roles immediately. Specifically, we are seeking a Dental Receptionist and a Dental Assistant to work a flexible 8-day fortnight schedule. These positions are open to negotiation for either permanent part-time or casual work arrangements, with two late nights and no weekend work required.

• As the Receptionist, your responsibilities will include meeting and greeting patients, managing incoming phone calls, scheduling patient appointments, coordinating dental treatments, processing payments and insurance claims, following up with patients after treatment, communicating via email, and assisting chairside as required. To excel in this role, we require someone with a strong work ethic, excellent time management skills, a positive attitude, a passion for the dental industry, an eye for detail, and the ability to work well in a team as well as independently

• The Dental Assistant position, on the other hand, requires previous dental assisting experience (although it is preferred, it is not essential), and will involve working alongside one of our four dentists chair-side, performing lab work and stock control, and demonstrating a high level of infection control and sterilization skills. Additionally, proficiency in computer skills is essential for this role.

• Experience is preferred
• Certificate III in Dental Assisting will be highly regarded (but not essential)

• Experience with Exact software highly considered (but not essential)
