This is a traineeship opportunity for someone wanting to build and develop skills and knowledge as a Dental Assistant. This includes enrolling and completing the CERT III in Dental Assisting.
We expect the right candidate to have a genuine commitment towards this traineeship program and the motivation to follow a career in the dental industry.
Some of the duties and responsibilities for this position include:
- Preparing patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Chair-side assistance
- Instrument handling and sterilisation
- Infection control and general cleanliness of the surgery
- Reception duties, including scheduling appointments
- Meeting and greeting patients into the clinic
- Maintaining stock
