What you'll be doing…

You will complete a Certificate III in Dental Assisting qualification over 12 months through a combination of formal training with a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and practical on-the-job experience with Zeal Futures and Host employer, Tweed Oral Health.

Throughout your formal training and practical experience in the workplace, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Complying with Australian Standards Policy, Procedures, and Guidelines for infection control in dental surgery.
  • Conducting client follow-ups by phone and ensuring clinic and treatment room cleanliness.
  • Making appointments, performing data entry, and providing chair-side assistance during oral health procedures.
  • Be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support across various aspects of dentistry. Your role will involve promoting patient attendance, assisting with follow-ups, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinic
