THIS IS A POTENTIAL TRAINEESHIP WITH SYDNEY SMILE CARE (SSC) AND THEIR AFFILIATED SCHOOL GO EDUCATE INSTITUTE. THIS ARRANGMENT INVOLVES A TRAINEESHIP PROGRAM FOR AUSTRALIAN CITIZENS OR RESIDENTS INTERESTED IN PURSUING A CERTIFICATE III IN DENTAL ASSISTING OR ADVANCED SPECALISED CERTIFICATE IV .

Key Information:

Trainee Sponsorship:

Sydney Smile Care is a qualified traineeship provider, eligible to sponsor individuals for funding from the government to cover the tuition of the dental assisting courses.

Government Funding: Subject to approval

Courses:

GO EDUCATE INSTITUTION, the affiliated school, offers Certificate III Dental Assisting and Advanced Specialised Certificate IV Dental Certificate 

Traineeship Program Discount:

Employees participating in the SCC traineeship program can avail a staff discount .

Responsibilities:

Chairside Assistance:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient procedures.
• Ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.

Sterilization and Maintenance:

• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
• Keep the treatment area and instruments clean and organized.

Patient Interaction:

• Greet and prepare patients for their dental appointments.
• Provide clear instructions to patients for pre- and post-operative care.

Administrative Support:

• Assist with front desk tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Learning and Development:

• Actively participate in training programs to enhance dental assisting skills.
• Stay informed about dental procedures and technologies.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills.
