At Digital Dental Surgery, we are looking for experienced dental receptionist & dental assistant, part-time and/or full-time, at our dental practices located in the city and Eastwood.

- Dental assistant (City/Eastwood)

Qualifications & experience
- A caring & friendly personality.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Consistently professional appearance and attitude.
- Able to provide great patient care.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a dental receptionist/dental assisting
- Fluent English (Chinese speakers will be prioritised)
Tasks & responsibilities
Dental Assistant:
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Providing great patient care
- Recording treatment information in patient records
- Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist
- Caring for dental equipment
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory
Receptionist (Chinese speaker preferred):
- Patient management; greeting and welcoming patients, answering all phone inquiries, making & confirming appointments; checking, processing & managing customer accounts
- General administration duties
- Cashier duties
- Preparations for patient appointments; treatment after-care instructions, forms, etc.
- Communicate with doctors regarding patient's dental treatment schedule
- Restock any insufficient office materials
- Communicate with third parties (i.e. dental labs) to follow up orders, etc.
