About the Opportunity:
We are looking for a casual experienced Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our team!
Culture is everything here at Tewantin you will be supported to grow and work among a long-standing great team, if you are proactive to further develop in Dentistry than this is the casual opportunity for you. Our casual shifts are generally between 8am-5:15pm Monday to Friday. In this role you will have 2 set days, with the option to pick up additional.
The Heart of the Role:
- Meet and greet patients, providing a great first impression
- Book and amend appointments, answering the phone, updating patient records
- Supporting the Practice Manager and clinical team with the smooth running of the practice
- Making patients aware of dental services and offers
- Develop and maintain positive relationships by providing excellent customer service to our patients
- Prepare patients & facilities for dental treatment
- Deliver quality chairside assistance to our Dentists
- Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
- Maintain and implement infection control standards and procedures
- Patient care from entry to the surgery and recall management
What you'll bring:
- 6+ months dental assisting experience
- Skilled at tackling challenges both on your own and as part of a team, while paying close attention to the little things
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passionate about customer service/patient care
- Maintaining an orderly environment with a knack for systematic approaches
- Ability to build rapport with patients, in a cheerful, light-hearted manner
