AddressDental Assistant/ Treatment Coordinator – Orthodontics
The Role:
Whyte Orthodontics are looking for a friendly natured person to join our team as a Dental Assistant/ Treatment Coordinator. This is a full-time role with no weekend work required! This position will be based predominately in our Red Hill & Thornlands clinics. Travel to our regional clinic in Biloela or Moranbah will be required once a month for a two-day trip.
This chairside role will include sterilisation responsibilities with occasional reception duties. Monday to Friday availability required as the days rostered will vary. Rosters are published in advance so that you can enjoy the work/ life balance! Experienced candidates will be highly regarded but full training will be provided.
Our ideal candidate:
- A Dental Assistant seeking a stable full-time role in a new environment.
- A High School graduate motivated to start their career in the dental industry. The opportunity for a traineeship will be considered.
University students will not be suitable for this role as we require availability Monday - Friday and travel to regional clinics.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Chairside assisting for Orthodontic and dental procedures
- Treatment Coordinator for orthodontic consultations
- Monthly travel to regional clinics in Biloela or Moranbah (2-day trip)
- Occasional reception/ administration duties
- Customer care duties
- Recording notes
- Sterilisation of instruments
- Handling of orthodontic/periodontics equipment between practices
- Intraoral 3D scanning (training will be provided)
