This is a great opportunity for an experienced Practice Manager/ HR professional in Healthcare to join our team!
We have a unique role that involves looking after the people and culture of our practice rather than absolutely everything! Your focus will be HR.
Starting with one session a week and building. Includes tasks like performance reviews, helping with staff training and training schedules, employment contracts. You will work with an assistant who is the handles the day to day contact.
As an essential member of our practice, you will ensure a seamless and exceptional employee experience. Your responsibilities will include, maintaining efficient policies and procedures, offering empathetic and supportive advice to our team, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.
About the Position
● Oversight of team performance and ongoing supervision and support to team as required
● Running performance reviews and issues, performance managing uploading all documentation to our HR management software
● Supervision and management of the team and employee life cycle including; Recruitment, induction, training, appraisal of staff and ongoing development.
● Responding to staff and patient complaints and issues
● Oversee OH&S with clinical coordinator
● Ensuring staff contracts are current and entitlements are fullfilled by our practice

What we are looking for in our new HR Coordinator:
- An effective communicator: with staff, explaining performance issues and offering solutions with support, and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborative: with the dental team and having the ability to develop rapport yet be strict on policy and procedures.
- Experience in people management and relationship/team building
Requirements:
- Previous practice management/HR experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is essential.
- Experience as a chairside Dental Assistant, Cert III / IV Cert, OHT, Hygienist, clinician (preferred)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain policies and procedures in a clear and concise manner and manage complaints with confidence and ease.
- Strong organisational skills and multitasking skills, handling pressure and multiple tasks with ease.
- Attention to detail to manage training schedules, with various staff's professional and personal needs.
- Proficiency in our dental software and computer systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment procedures and policies (preferred)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with patients and the dental team.

Our clinic is one of the longest standing Dental Practices in the heart of Essendon, & has cared for generations of families with respectful service. We offer comprehensive dentistry, including restorative, orthodontics, cosmetics, implants, all with digital workflows and technology (photography, x rays and scanners). Our current HR Co-ordinator has taken on more duties in another management role.
