Our Wollongong Dental Practice Manager role is a hands-on role, that is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational management of our health centre. You would be leading a team of dental assistants and receptionists. The Dental Practice Manager ensures the smooth operation of an accredited practice, that places a high value on strict infection control standards, as well as high quality dental procedures, patient care and customer service.

What would you do as our Dental Practice Manager?
- Lead from the front – Two days of this role is hands on in both Dental Assisting and Reception duties, the rest are administrative duties
- Oversee management and coordinate purchase of dental stock for the centre; efficient use of products and eliminate products expiring and wastage
- Leadership and management of dental assistants and receptionists including onboarding, training and induction, rostering, coaching and performance management
- Championing Teachers Health core values and culture across the team
- Overseeing patient bookings to ensure smooth operations and maximise productivity of the Dental Practice
- Monitor and review dental processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Ensure infection control policy and procedures are implemented and adopted by all dental employees and contractors
- Ensure the recording of accurate financial information for report generation
- Ensure compliance with ADA and AHPRA policies and guidelines
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Dental Practice Manager
- Strong knowledge and application of infection control processes
- Experience managing and leading a team
- A positive and professional communication style with strong verbal and written communication skills
- An excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
- Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
- Dental Assisting Cert III or equivalent is required
- Previous experience with Oasis, Examine Pro and HAMBS is beneficial
