We have an exciting opportunity for a front office co-ordinator/ Practice Manager to join our lovely supportive team in gorgeous Dural.
Our practice is busy, growing and we are searching for an enthusiastic front office co-ordinator to help manage the business. We are happy to support your career development and help you attain the skills necessary for the industry if required. You will get the opportunity to work alongside some pretty awesome clinicians, as well as develop/use your management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities and Attributes:
● The position is an autonomous hands-on role, where you will be responsible for day to day front office tasks and managing the appointment diary for multiple clincians. There will be time allocated separately for practice management tasks but some time will be spent at reception during the week. You will be respected, supported and listened to in this role
● The role offers the opportunity to expand your leadership skills to effectively motivate and help manage a diverse team of dental professionals and auxiliary staff
● You must be able to work well in a team and collaborate in different aspects of the job
● We are looking for someone with great interpersonal and communication skills to create a positive experience for everyone including staff and patients
● Be able to effectively oversee patient bookings to ensure smooth operations and maximise productivity of our accredited practice
● A passion for innovation and improvement with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care
● Contribute to the growth and profitability of the practice by developing and implementing strategies to meet the evolving needs
The role includes general practice administration tasks such as: reception duties, assist with rostering, managing appointment diaries, sending and receiving referral letters, help manage staff, patient queries, marketing and basic accounts management.
Dural Dental Practice will provide on-the-job mentorship, company paid training and support to the successful applicant to obtain the right qualifications to carry out the position and make it their own.
To be successful in securing this fantastic opportunity the candidate we are seeking should be a team player, be highly organised, have an eye for detail, have exceptional customer service skills, and ideally, have front office dental experience.
About You
- Experience within the dental industry in reception/ practice management is ideal
- Experience with word & excel
- Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills
- The ability to work unsupervised within a team environment
