Dental Receptionist / Dental Assistant

Phoenix Road Dental Surgery (Spearwood,WA) has a position available for a part time Dental receptionist/Dental Assistant to join our team.

The successful candidate would commence 2-3 days a week (negotiable and flexible at this stage). We are a friendly, family orientated team with a passion for providing good dentistry with a relaxed atmosphere for the patient.

The main duties and responsibilities for this position will include:

Reception duties :

• Welcoming patients in a professional and personable manner
• Efficiently answering and directing phone calls
• Scheduling and maintaining appointments
• Managing electronic patient records (D4W preferred but not essential)
• Invoicing patients and receipt of payments (including healthfunds, Medicare and DVA)
• General office duties

AND/OR

Chair-side dental assisting: training and and experience in dental nursing highly desirable

Sterilisation duties

Requirements of this position:

Dental assistant experience highly desirable (Certificate III or IV)

Previous dental/medical /allied health reception experience highly desirable

Flexible with working hours
