Dental Therapist - Geraldton

We have an immediate vacancy for three (3) Permanent Full Time Dental Therapists in Geraldton. We are seeking Dental Therapists for Rangeway, Allendale, and the Geraldton Mobile Dental Clinic.The successful Dental Therapists will provide routine dental care for enrolled children in our School Dental Therapy Centres. You will be responsible for maintaining patient records in accordance with Dental Health Services policies and giving guidance to Dental Clinic Assistants.Other duties include, but are not limited to provision and preventive oral health services to children and provide oral health education to individuals, schools and community groups.We are seeking enthusiastic and suitably qualified Dental Therapists with well-developed communication skills, who thrive working as part of a small team to deliver high quality oral healthcare, including education.We want to mentor you in your career, whilst working in a supportive environment and learning from our senior team members.LocationAll three positions are based in Geraldton. Allendale Dental Therapy Centre and Rangeway Dental Therapy Centre are fixed clinics located within the Greater City of Geraldton.The Geraldton mobile is based out of Geraldton and makes regular visits to Perenjori, Mingenew, Three Springs, Carnamah, Kalbarri, Dongara, Northampton, Mullewa and Morawa. Depending on the location of the mobile stopping point, you may return to the base location daily or on weekends. A staff vehicle is provided for travel to locations of mobile stopping points. Accommodation and allowances are paid when staff are engaged in outreach clinic visits at designated mobile stopping points.Geraldton, located 424km from Perth, is a coastal city in the Mid-West Region. Known for its beautiful white sandy beaches; it is the gateway to the Abrolhos Islands - 122 coral islands with beautiful fish and marine life. A Mediterranean climate awaits with long hot summers and coastal breezes but short, mild winters. The perfect hotspot for all of you water sporting activities from windsurfing to fishing and sailing.
