ABOUT YOU AND THE ROLE
This is an exciting and important new leadership role that provides the opportunity to positively impact the safety and lives of all members of the Western Australian community.
The Department of Justice is seeking a dynamic leader with a proven track record in delivering outcomes aligned with Government priorities.
To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate strategic leadership experience, including a track record of influencing and mobilising change. You should be competent in developing a vision, setting strategic direction, and facilitating wide-scale cultural and systemic-change, with a focus on safety of our people and those in our care. You will also develop and maintain the integrity and reputation of Corrective Services.
This is a new role, affording you the pivotal opportunity to shape and develop the Young People directorate, join the newly formed executive leadership team, and contribute to the overall direction and leadership of Corrective Services.

ELIGIBILITY
It is a requirement that the position holder is successful in obtaining a NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance as a condition of employment and maintaining the clearance for the duration of their appointment in the position. Only Australian Citizens are eligible to hold the NEGATIVE VETTING LEVEL ONE security clearance.
