Exciting opportunity for a SFIA 4 Deputy Delivery Release Enablement
Initial contract through to May 2027 with multiple extension opportunities
ACT located, Remote working considered

The Client Our client provides science and technology support to safeguard Australia and its national interests The Role The Program requires an Deputy Delivery Release Enablement resource with experience in program delivery management within a ERP SAP complex ICT transformational program to support delivery consistency, efficiency and effectiveness through the development, continuous improvement and embedding of Delivery Methods & Tools.
The resource must have Project management, scheduling and implementation methodologies experience to support the Delivery leadership and teams, utilising best practice project management methodologies. The resource will have very good communication, negotiation and engagement, Conflict management skills, have the ability to work in and manage a small team and to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.
The responsibilities of the position is as follows:
Leveraging ERP and SAP Quality and Project management experience working as part of the broader Delivery Team to ensure schedule and quality targets are met
Ensuring outcomes are achieved by driving consistency and effectiveness through the development, continuous improvement and embedding of Delivery Methods & Tools with optimal outcomes for the organisation and adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
Continuously improve a set of repeatable framework methodologies, templates and tools while engaging with Divisional Enabling services to support Delivery team members
Manage schedule activities and SAP best practice project management methodologies.
Ensuring alignment of ERP methodologies, tools and solution, and outcomes concept with policy and framework
Supporting ERP Program Management to plan, manage and govern activities to ensure alignment with optimal outcomes and adoption of ERP implementation best practices.
Knowledge transfer and demonstrate initiative and on occasion taking responsibilities for non-standard solution release related tasks
About You The ideal candidate will possess:
8+ years experience in complex ICT ERP Program ERP SAP transformation and proven team leadership experience.
Minimum 8 years of with Project, schedule and improvement management demonstrating methodologies development
Deep understanding of SAP Best Practice implementation methodologies.
Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills, including engagement and conflict management with the ability to think laterally and take the initiative to drive activities to completion.
