As our new Design and Construction Manager, you will be responsible for the project management of remodels and new builds for KFC restaurants within your allocated region. You'll support and engage with relevant stakeholders from initial design right through to delivery, ensuring brand standards are upheld.

ABOUT YOU – OUR NEXT ORIGINAL

• You’ll embrace our people first culture!
• Tertiary qualification relating to Architecture/ Interior Design or similar.
• Experience in Interior Architecture, building design, industrial design, project management, construction or procurement.
• Experience managing multiple projects (within FMCG, retail, QSR highly regarded).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise sound independent judgment and responsibility as well as in a team environment.
• Prepared to take interstate travel as required.
• Good analytical/mathematical skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines across multiple projects.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF YOUR NEW ROLE

• Manage facility design approvals for the KFC restaurant network, ensuring compliance with brand standards.
• Ensure Design Brand Standard compliance for all facilities.
• Support alignment of brand projects eg.energy efficiencies, sustainability
• Coordinate and manage the building green process for new stores.
• Cultivate relationships with 60+ franchisees and designated consultants.
• Support facility policies, asset strategies, and budgets to achieve Facility Brand Standards.
• Assist the D&C team with systems, processes, and stakeholder communications.
• Direct and approve Capex packages for brand projects (liaising with finance).
• Identify efficiency improvements and recommend new designs, methods, and materials to enhance property value and operational profitability.
• Stay updated on planning, building, health codes, and Environmentally Sustainable Design standards.
