Design Consultant

We are offering an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly creative individual to join our residential design team as a Design Consultant. 

As an integral member of our Design team your role will include:

• Organising design documents, client files, project materials and details for display homes, custom builds and specialised housing 
• Liaising with suppliers to create residential company specifications
• Liaising with the Marketing team to create promotional offers for clients
• Maintaining and updating products within the Prestart Selection Studio to ensure that materials remain of a high standard. 
• Assisting with operations including building maintenance 
• Addressing all incoming external stakeholder inquiries.

Ideally, as the successful candidate you will have:

• At least 3 years experience as an Interior Design/Colour Consultant in the residential building industry
• Administration Experience
• Certificate IV in Interior Design, or equivalent
• Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office, Outlook and other software. 
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills & customer service skills
• Exceptional organisational and time management skills
• Ability to read and understand working construction drawings and contracts
• Current knowledge of relevant legislation, Building Codes and industry trends will be highly regarded
