We are offering an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly creative individual to join our residential design team as a Design Consultant.
As an integral member of our Design team your role will include:
- Organising design documents, client files, project materials and details for display homes, custom builds and specialised housing
- Liaising with suppliers to create residential company specifications
- Liaising with the Marketing team to create promotional offers for clients
- Maintaining and updating products within the Prestart Selection Studio to ensure that materials remain of a high standard.
- Assisting with operations including building maintenance
- Addressing all incoming external stakeholder inquiries.
Ideally, as the successful candidate you will have:
- At least 3 years experience as an Interior Design/Colour Consultant in the residential building industry
- Administration Experience
- Certificate IV in Interior Design, or equivalent
- Sound computer literacy skills including MS Office, Outlook and other software.
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills & customer service skills
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills
- Ability to read and understand working construction drawings and contracts
- Current knowledge of relevant legislation, Building Codes and industry trends will be highly regarded
