AddressWe are seeking a talented and experienced Design Managerto join the Design team at GVG, an award-winning developer builder based in Brisbane, experienced in multiple multi-residential and mixed-use projects from $10m - $80m across the Southeast Brisbane.
About the Role
As the Design Manager, you will effectively manage design resources, lead the design team, and ensure that design deadlines are met. By overseeing resource allocation, issuing RFIs, providing documentation approval, and overseeing the design process to drive successful project outcomes and foster a high-performing design team. You will work closely with the Head of Design, Construction Manager, Design Leads and Design Technicians to ensure that our projects are delivered to the highest standards.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards and Queensland Development Code
- Familiarity with the multi-residential and mixed use construction processes and methodology
- Ability to coordinate with consulting engineers and contractors
- AutoCAD and Revit experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
- Enterprise Management System knowledge - preferably BEQ
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Architecture/Design is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a design management position is mandatory - preferably in multi-residential apartment space
